Yes, you read that right. Tickets for SPARE’s upcoming production of Chicago are on sale now! The show's producer, Catherine Carter, says this is a show you do not want to miss.
"Chicago is a theatre favorite and destined to be SPARE’s best show to date," said Carter. "Our creative and production teams are top notch and our cast is extremely talented."
The production, slated for performances on July 8, 9, and 10 in Binghamton High School’s Helen Foley Theatre, features several performers new to SPARE, something SPARE President Marisa Valent is particularly excited about.
“We’re thrilled to be working with so many new faces,” she said. “It’s always fun to get some new blood in the door!”
Carter says the production could still use a few more men in the chorus, so if you want to join – or you know anyone who does – e-mail producer@spareproductions.org and we'll get you set up!
The cast is not the only group working to get the production ready for primetime, however. The show’s sets are being built, the orchestra is preparing, and the village it takes to put together the unique shows that SPARE is known for is well on their way to producing an amazing show.
Carter says there are several ways you can help SPARE bring the show to life. From helping build sets to reserving tickets – remember, they’re on sale now – to buying a program ad – links to the ad forms are included here – Carter says everything helps.
"This is a prime example of an opportunity to support the local arts," said Carter, "whether it be through donations, volunteering your time, or simply buying tickets!"
Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $10.00 for students and seniors, and can be reserved by e-mailing boxoffice@spareproductions.org.
